Baby Trend Expedition Jogger Stroller Review – Will this 3-Wheel Stroller Match Your Lifestyle?
I wanted to get in shape quickly after giving birth and a friend recommended getting the Baby Trend Expedition jogger stroller which would allow me to work out while having my baby with me. I listened to her advice and I’ve been using this 3-wheel stroller for nearly a year now. This gives me confidence to review it in the hope that I can help other parents make a choice.
This 3-wheel stroller is sufficiently narrow to allow you to go even through tight areas and crowds when needed. While it isn’t big, this stroller is very strong thanks to the steel construction. I’m confident that it will stay in good shape for a long time to come. The tough frame doesn’t add much to the weight of the unit which is just 27 pounds. I lift the stroller easily even though I’m not very strong.
Baby Trend Expedition is a breeze to fold and when folded doesn’t take a lot of space. I have a big car trunk, so I’m now used to taking this stroller with me practically anywhere I go. It’s that convenient.
Baby Safety and Comfort
My 15-month old daughter feels great when sitting in the padded seat. Adjusting the five-point harness is easy, while the child can’t unbuckle it in any way. I’m confident that my toddler is safe when we go for a jog. The seat reclines smoothly when nap time comes, while the canopy provides reliable protection in any weather. My baby sleeps just as soundly as she does in her Union 3-in-1 convertible crib. I find the baby tray to be quite practical too. I can keep two bottles and some food or toys, and this is more than enough. It’s also possible to attach a car seat to it and this is also something that I like a lot about this 3-wheel stroller.
Convenient for Parents?
One of the things I like the most about this Baby Trend Expedition 3-wheel stroller is that I don’t have to carry a bag with me while I’m jogging in the park. I have everything I need to keep my baby safe and happy in the storage basket and everything I need to feel awesome is on the parent tray. With its two cup holders, it’s ideal for someone who drinks both juice and water when working out. My smartphone is always safe inside the closed compartment.
The big wheels in bicycle style do a great job in reducing the vibration, while being perfectly reliable on any kind of surface. I’ve tried running this 3-wheel stroller on gravel and it never got stuck. It’s quite maneuverable too. When I jog, however, I always lock the front wheel to ensure better stability and that I’ll be able to gain speed without disturbing my baby.
Many people don’t pay attention to the handle, but I want to point out that it’s also extremely important for a smooth ride. I find it comfortable to hold. I always get a firm grip which makes steering incredibly easy. Forget about the surface being slippery or about feeling fatigue while you are pushing Baby Trend Expedition.
Any Notable Drawbacks?
I find the color options to be a bit limited with this model. I’m personally into brighter colors, so I’d appreciate more diversity. Apart from this, I find the stroller to be great in every way. I haven’t found any serious issues with it.
Overall, the Baby Trend Expedition 3-wheel stroller is functional, safe, reliable and comfortable for both the baby and the parent. I like it a lot. For more details and reviews, visit Amazon.
